The Siphonic rainwater drainage system Wavin QuikStream® was developed to drain rainwater on roof surfaces safely and economically. This evacuation system works on the principle of negative pressure (full filling with water without air).
Safe evacuation with minimal strainer.
Thanks to the Wavin QuickStream® high-performance strainer with a rustproof metal head, efficient solutions are offered with much less strainer even in heavy rain. Wavin QuickStream® also offers a wide range of roof drains with high capacity. With bitumen and membrane strainers, solutions can be offered for all types of roofs and insulation. It has the largest selection of strainers with stainless steel strainers. With an output capacity of up to a maximum flow rate of 40 l / s, Wavin QuickStream® strainers reduce the number of strainer and therefore make fewer descents. All strainers are approved by independent organizations to comply with standards EN 12056 and EN 1253.
Fewer holes in the roof are also very important for the sealing.
Easier to use with smaller diameters and smaller quantities of pipes: conventional (classic) roof systems require more strainers, pipes with larger diameters and a risky and costly system design that is created within the structure.
Thanks to the Wavin QuickStream® Licensed QuickStream® calculation program, the calculated rain load is drained with the lowest strainers , the lowest number of runs and the use of fewer pipes. Because fewer strainers are used, fewer holes are drilled in the roof and insulation is made easier. Infrastructure excavations and excavation requirements are minimized with fewer downspouts.
High design comfort for architects and engineers
With conventional (classic) roof drainage systems, a minimum slope of 1% is required. This imperative disappears with Wavin QuickStream® Siphonic.
No inclination (0%) is required for the horizontal pipes of the Wavin QuickStream® Siphonic System. Thus, the designers are offered the highest level of comfort when using the interior and loft spaces. The use of pipes with a smaller diameter creates maximum comfort for both the construction and the installation. High flow rates are achieved with high negative pressures in the pipe system. The high-speed fluid thus sweeps foreign matter into the pipe system and enables the system to clean itself. This minimizes maintenance costs.

The specially developed clamping system not only simplifies the fewer pipelines and landing lines, but also enables quick assembly thanks to its ease of assembly.
Perfect clamping system
With its clamping system specially developed for the QuickStream® siphon system, Wavin offers maximum convenience and time savings in applications. High static and dynamic loads that can occur during the operation of the siphon system can be easily overcome with long-life suspension clamps. 100-meter-long polyethylene pipe is shortened by 60 cm at a temperature change of 30°C. The suspension system to be installed should be able to remove this change. The reliability of the Wavin suspension system has been tested by independent organizations.
